Plattform24

10 March – 14 April 2024 / Kunstmuseum

The Plattform offers an annual insight into the work of young artists in Switzerland. This year’s exhibition presents new works by 12 selected Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates from Swiss art universities. The exhibition series takes place annually and has been realized in partnership with the Helvetia Art Prize since 2011. Since 2017, the exhibition has been held in different regions and is hosted each year by a different institution.

Virginie Sistek wins the Helvetia Art Prize 2024

Virginie Sistek (*1999), a graduate of the Master’s program Art Nature Gender at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) in Basel, has won the Helvetia Art Prize 2024. Now awarded for the twenty-first time, the prize is conceived as a support award for young artists and comes with prize money of CHF 15,000 as well as the opportunity for a solo exhibition at LISTE Art Fair Basel.
