For the final day of the exhibition Caline Aoun. The Threshold of Impermanence, curator Stefanie Gschwend will lead a final tour through both venues. The tour begins at the Kunstmuseum with Aoun’s process-based works exploring water, light, heat and material, before continuing after a short walk to the Kunsthalle, where image production, circulation and data come to the fore.
Afterwards, the bar at the Kunsthalle will open for drinks and informal conversation ahead of the Série Jeunes concert. At 5 p.m., Sandro Erni (trumpet) and Elena Vartikian (piano) will perform at the Kunsthalle. Together, they present a varied programme including works by Swiss composers such as Daniel Schnyder and Arthur Honegger.
Meeting point for the tour (in German):
3 p.m. at the Kunstmuseum, Unterrainstrasse 5, 9050 Appenzell. The group will walk together to the Kunsthalle, but you can also travel by car; parking is available.
