Caline Aoun
The Threshold of Impermanence
Kunstmuseum / Kunsthalle
The solo exhibition The Threshold of Impermanence by Caline Aoun spans the Kunstmuseum and Kunsthalle Appenzell and explores the conditions under which natural and artificial systems emerge, function, and change. Aoun’s internationally established practice renders invisible processes perceptible and engages with key contemporary issues – ecological fragility, technological integration, and the use of time and resources.

/ Kunsthalle
Imagining Kunsthalle is a video art programme in which artists are invited to present films or video works by other artists that inspire, move, or challenge them, alongside their own work, in the projection room at the Kunsthalle’s brick kiln. The first edition Routines brings together a series of video works that focus on the production and circulation of images in everyday life and examine how these images are appropriated.
