On Sunday, 23 November 2025, the Cantons of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and Appenzell Innerrhoden invite the public to the presentation of the IBK Artists’ Encounter at the Kunsthalle Appenzell.
Cultural practitioners from the Lake Constance region will share their working methods and their experiences in engaging with myths, legends and folk tales. The emphasis lies not on completed pieces, but on workshop reports, artistic experiments and reflections – images in the mind, stories of origin and new perspectives for the future.
The 18th IBK Artists’ Encounter is conceived as an open space for discussion, exchange and collective thinking.
